A Most Beautiful Thing Panel

The NBA’s Dream In Color employee resource team will host a virtual panel discussion with the forces behind “A Most Beautiful Thing,” a documentary executive-produced by NBA legends Grant Hill and Dwyane Wade, Seattle Storm President and Co-Owner Ginny Gilder and GRAMMY award-winning artist Common. The film chronicles the history of the first U.S. African-American public high school rowing team.

Grant Hill, director Mary Mazzio and Arshay Cooper, a rower and the protagonist of the film, will join us to discuss Arshay’s story, the origins of the film, Black history, Juneteenth and more. The panel will be moderated by Stephanie Ready, broadcaster and host of NBA TV’s “The Warm Up” and Yahoo! Sports’ “The Bounce.”
