After a 40 year career with the Boston Symphony, principal harpist Ann Hobson Pilot retired in 2009. Ms. Hobson Pilot has received many awards and honors including three honorary doctorates, two lifetime achievement awards and the gold baton award from the League of American Orchestras. Also featured in several documentaries her own TedTalk, Ms. Ann Hobson Pilot continues to perform as soloist with orchestras as well as with chamber music groups around the world.
